My Wash & Go: What I learned.....

Hello FOLK!!!

I hope all is well when you are reading this. As you can see from the title of this post, I'm going to be telling you all about my wash & go experience.

If you are natural and have tried to perfect your wash & go you know there is always trial and error. You never seem to get it right the first time nor the second time, or you just don't like the results. Well if this is the case you are not alone.

For about 3 years, after watching numerous YouTube tutorials, I've tried my shot at this particular hairstyle. To my surprise, it never turned out like the ladies in the videos. I got discouraged and was like, "I'm done trying to do this style." It even got to the point where I said, "My hair isn't exactly the kind of hair that can pull it off." After leaving the style alone, just doing my normal fro or twist out, I got my behind out of my funk and decided to try the style once more.

To be honest natural hair is very versatile and can be styled in so many different ways. Figuring, hey I'm tired of the fro and twist outs, I want something a little different. One night I just decided to go for it. I mean it will either work or it won't.

Instead of watching tutorials I took matters into my own hands, literally; it took me to realize I was doing something wrong or forgetting a specific product. That product ladies wasn't a cream, an oil or even a descent moisturizer. That product was PATIENTS!! I seemed to have wanted to rush the results and not pay attention to my hair or even have the patients to listen to my hair, yes I said LISTEN.

Listening to your hair and paying attention to its basic needs will make a world of difference. Now with all the hooplah out of the way, I will say I haven't perfected my wash & go I've just found a good way to execute the process.

So remember to have PATIENTS and LISTEN to your hair. I have linked a video to let you ladies see how I did my wash & go. Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a wonderful blessed day!!! Now I'll leave you with this....-I plan, my hair laughs

Much Luv,
